Kensie ties up with Amiee Lynn to launch designer bags line
Kensie announced today a licensing agreement with Amiee Lynn to design and manufacture handbags under the kensie brand name. The kensie handbag collection will feature pretty, sexy and feminine styles in edgy silhouettes that transition from day into evening. The line is being launched to the trade this month, and will be available at department and specialty stores, including kensie specialty stores, in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico in Spring 2009. Commenting on the announcement, Eric Karls, President and CEO of kensie, said: “We`re thrilled with this collaboration - - Amiee Lynn is a great partner for the kensie brand because they understand the of-the-moment style needs of our consumer. Handbags are a natural category extension for kensie that will allow us to offer even more to our kensie customer.” Michael Spolansky, CEO of Amiee Lynn said: “We are happy to have kensie join our group of licenses and look forward to presenting the exciting kensie handbag collection to the vibrant contemporary market.” About kensie: kensie is all about feminine pretty clothes dressing the current mood.
