Lifestyle retailer Pacific Sunwear sales dive in November

Pacific Sunwear of California Inc reported that total PacSun sales for the four weeks of fiscal November ended November 29, 2008 were $101.0 million, a decrease of eight percent from total PacSun sales of $110.2 million during the same period last year. PacSun same-store sales decreased 10 percent during the same period. Total PacSun sales for the first 43 weeks of fiscal 2008 were $1.00 billion, down slightly versus total PacSun sales of $1.03 billion during the same period last year. PacSun same store sales decreased four percent during the same period. Pacific Sunwear is a leading lifestyle specialty retailer rooted in the youth culture and fashion vibe of Southern California.
