One of the leading casual wear brands ColorPlus is aiming to expand its ambit in the Indian market by opening 120 stores over next two years. After inaugurating a 2,500 square feet showroom in Chennai, Mr Ashesh Amin, Head, ColorPlus India, while speaking to media persons, said that Company is upbeat with the growth of 15 percent in the premium casual wear segment and intends to tap this market by launching new stores and brands. In the coming years, ColorPlus looks forward to grab 25 percent growth. ColorPlus Fashion Ltd, the subsidiary of Raymond Ltd, the largest integrated manufacturer of worsted fabric in the world, is expecting that its women and kids wear segment will contribute 10 percent to its total business over next two to three years from the current 1 percent. According to Mr Amin, ColorPlus intends to double its turnover to Rs3 billion by 2010-11 and the proposed stores would help the company reach the target.
